Sharing knowledge

Case studies help pass on best practice

At the core of the Forum's existence is the sharing of information, skills and knowledge among rural towns and large parishes.

The Forum has captured this knowledge in a series of case studies (see links on the left) which look at a range of community projects which have received support of different kinds from the Forum.

Local people who have helped make these projects 'happen' have been kind enough to share their experiences and 'top tips' to help other rural communities emulate their successes.

The Forum has also published, and updated, a Community Toolkit to help get your community buzzing - the Toolkit includes a useful guide to getting a community project off the ground. See links on the left.

Member communities can apply for GMTF Development Funding and the support of experiences, professional advisers through the Technical Assistance programme to help their projects get off the ground.

The Forum's  networking and  look and learn events give people from all over rural Gloucestershire a chance to learn from each other.
